TRANSFER TAX
Department of Revenue Administration
NH transfer tax = transaction amount x 0.015 ($15 per thousand)
Corrective or confirmatory documents are exempt from L-Chip fee.
L-Chip surcharge is NOT required for the recording of any documents in which a party is: The United States or the State of NH, a State agent, a County, a City, Town, School District or Village

All fees paid to the Registry of Deeds are determined by the NH Legislature.
All fees include a $2 surcharge pursuant to RSA 478:17-j.
